ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
The Center for Architecture

The Center for Architecture hired us to create and design branding for their annual golf classic, a fundraiser for their student programs and scholarships that invites architects to connect and let loose over a day of golf. I created digital banners for their website, and social media accounts, and designed a banner for the golf outing.

YEAR / 2022

My concept for this year’s design centered around the movement that exists in an average game of golf. Players golf from different holes moving around a whole course and in the process lose themselves in the game. The abstract shapes represent golf holes and how architects jumble up failed sketches before arriving at a 1st draft. We are metaphorically encouraging them to get lost in the game, unload and kick back at the Annual Golf Classic.

Although I did not encounter any significant challenges in completing this project, it did require me to think outside the box. For many, golf is perceived as a somewhat slow or even boring sport which is something I took into consideration during our concept development stage. I chose to emphasize movement to shift the narrative from the sport being slow-paced to something fun that anyone could get lost in and enjoy.
