FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
B.D. Feliz (Brayan Daniel Feliz) is a Dominican-born Bronx-based design strategist, researcher, artist-activist, and writer whose work seeks to alleviate systemic challenges facing underrepresented communities globally. His approach to problem-solving is multidisciplinary, integrating various areas of design and technology to shed light on and tackle these issues. He is passionate about democratizing local spaces and is also the founder of Wanderdot, a platform for community building, Storytelling, and radical projects aimed at dismantling local systems of oppression.

Received Biotech Training @ Genspace
In 2024, I gained wet lab experience through their Break Into Biotech (BIB) program. Experimented in bio-materials design and genetic engineering.

In 2020, with the help of an open-source code, I designed and developed a digital directory of Bronx-based professionals.

Founded Wanderdot
In 2016, I began working on a sustainable tourism startup focused on pairing travelers with locals for unique experiences. Airbnb then launched their version. 🤷♂️

Volunteered at the 2015 World Expo in Milan, Italy.

Creative Bootcamp @ The One Club
In 2013, I participated in The One Club Creative Bootcamp creating an ad campaign for Pencils of Promises as part of the competition.

Team Leader @ NYS Model Senate
During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the 72nd Model Sensate Session. Under my leadership, the minority team (Democrats) successfully passed a moratorium on Hydrofracking.

Considered becoming a Diplomat
Took the FSOT but decided not to pursue a career in foreign relations.

Supported and spearheaded environmental campaigns at NYPIRG’s City Tech chapter during my undergrad studies.

In 2010, I was accepted into the National Aeronautical & Space Administration (NASA) Motivated Undergraduates in Science and Technology (MUST) program. I dropped out of the program to pursue a career in politics and later design.
